the women who co-labored with paul to birth the church

Deacon, Patron, Sister: the hats we wear as women
Join me for the opening session of our Illuminate Immersive weekend.
There has been no shortage of discussion about what Paul writes about women. But how did he actually work alongside them, and what could that tell us? There is more to the text than you have been taught.
Take Phoebe, for example — mentioned only once in Scripture, but that single verse will surprise you. We’ll also look at the specific words Paul uses to describe her and, in addition, hold space for words that describe you.
Sign up below to get the Zoom link and tonight's notes, so you can listen and notice what's stirring in you instead of writing down everything you hear.
All you need is your Bible and a stack of sticky notes.
