Deliverance, you ask? Yes.

Don’t like that word? What if I said, "Women who Deliver"? How does that land with you? Or "delivering women" … or "rescuing women"? I’m testing titles as this takes shape.

Last year, as we studied Women of Wisdom, a friend sent me The Bible Project episode 7 Powerful Women in the Bible Who Help Rescue God’s People. I had known for a long time that the women of Exodus would become a Living Room study—but listening to that episode sealed the decision to make it the 2026 study.

As we study the women of Exodus, we’ll reflect on what their courage, obedience, fear, faith, and unique roles in God’s deliverance reveal about our own journeys as women of God. As the Bible Project put it:

Like many other women in the Bible, these female leaders of faith defy oppression, embody God’s purpose, and play an essential role in Israel’s history.
