Women Who Co-Labored with Paul to Birth the Church
An immersive weekend of learning, reflection, and community.
There has been no shortage of discussion about what Paul writes about women. But how did he actually work alongside them, and what could that tell us? There is more to the text than you have been taught. Take Junia and Phoebe, for example — each is mentioned only once in Scripture, but that single mention will surprise you. We’ll also look at specific words Paul uses to describe his female co-laborers, the same words he uses for men.

This Illuminate Immersive Weekend is an invitation to set aside time with the five teachings and activities so you walk away with a deeper, more grounded understanding of the women who co-labored alongside Paul and their context. We’ll spend time studying Priscilla, Phoebe, Junia, and more, examining their roles and contributions within the early church.
Virtual registration gives you access to the five teaching sessions covering Phoebe, Priscilla, Junia, Euodia and Syntyche, and Lydia, the same teaching given in-person, without the in-person group activities, meals, or discussion time.
